This is a popular board for the local surf and no question why! These things fly!!
Original model at 6’8″ with tons of volume for paddling and the V bottom for wicked looseness!!
Great mid-length option for someone looking to transition toward shortboarding but not wanting to go too small.

5’10” SMTH Shapes Shortboard (Like New)

Crispy Al Merrick Flyer!! Meant to be an “everyday board for everyday in everyday conditions”, this is a sweet shortboard for LA.
A board that can keep speed and throw buckets on smaller waves. Epoxy Tuf-Lite build, so super light and extra floaty!!
We’ve seen quite a few of these epoxy Flyers and know they are outstanding boards.

5’10” Al Merrick “Dumpster Diver” (Used)

Another rad wider shortboard to get critical on the smaller days!
This is a nice and chunky Al Merrick “Dumpster Diver” intended to be a groveler. Easier paddling but still plenty rippable.
Heavy usage but watertight!
6’5″ Al Merrick “The Proton” Shortboard (Used)

Sweet Al Merrick “Proton” model shortboard at 6’5″. Solid step-up or bigger shortboard option.
Narrow and good amount of rocker, this thing will need a juicy wave to get cranking, but once it does it’s sure to rip!
Board has seen better days but it’s watertight and ready to go.
