One of our favorite local shapers ever Mr Tim Phares is back with another classic Scorpion style funboard! Tim has been shaping surfboards for over 50 years and has earned his reputation as a master craftsmen. He is one of the few with such prestige in our area and his boards are becoming increasingly rare to find. We are hyped to have a few more of his boards in stock, and this twin pin is definitely one that doesn’t disappoint.
The Scorpion is Tim’s take on the classic Takayama outline – basically a super wide and heavy nose that works its way down into a very pinned out tail. This board is all about pivot and style, a board that can perform tight turns off the back foot but also can be walked almost all the way up to the nose!
